ChatGPT is a revolutionary new AI tool that has major implications for teaching and learning languages. In this workshop, we’ll explore some examples of how this tool can be used to enhance language learning and instruction and discuss best practices for getting the most out of this exciting technology.

Bio:
Sam has a Master’s degree in education and teaches ESP to professionals in Germany. Though he currently works in a corporate setting, he has broad ELT experience, having taught across all age groups and in a variety of contexts. In addition to teaching, he has experience with materials development, program design, needs analysis, and assessment, and he has consulted with organizations to implement top-notch training programs. Sam is particularly experienced in communicative approaches such as TBLT and Dogme ELT and he is interested in the many exciting possibilities that technology can offer teachers.
