Last Saturday, our second online workshop took place via Zoom.
The workshop was aptly named China to Go:

  • What do we know about China?
  • How do we perceive the Chinese and how do they perceive us?
  • How respected are teachers in China, compared to teachers in Germany?
  • What are our own experiences in regard to Chinese language students?

To answer these questions, Jason Chan used a variety of materials and shared his own experience with us.

He also touched on the do’s and don’ts of intercultural communication in respect to the Chinese culture in particular and most Western cultures in general.
At the end of the workshop there was a 30 min Q&A session.
