China To Go
How does one become familiar with a culture spanning thousands of years in an afternoon? Frankly, one can only begin to scratch the surface. However, rather than talking about the clichés often associated with China and its people, this workshop dares to go deeper than the ‘what’. In this workshop, through interactive activities, we aim to understand ‘why’ Chinese people behave the way they do. In turn, this understanding will have a positive effect on ‘how’ participants interact with Chinese students or business partners in the future.
Bio 
Jason Chan has been engaged in the area of TEFL and intercultural training for about 15 years. Currently he is an adjunct instructor of English at local higher education institutions in the Nuremberg area, where he resides with his family. Always up for new challenges, he is at the moment pursuing his Ed.D with the University of Glasgow.
