You are cordially invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the English Language Teachers’ Association Stuttgart e.V. on Saturday, 15 April 2023 at 4:30 p.m. Venue: ISM, Maybach Strasse 20, 70469 Stuttgart after our event there.

9. Add Volunteer Allowance to the Statutes – The members of the Managing Board are, in principle, active on a voluntary basis. Provided that the financial situation of the association so permits, they are entitled to be paid expense allowances within the framework of the statutory lump sum pursuant to § 3 No.26a of the Income Tax Law Pertains to § 4. in the statutes regarding Earmarking.
10. Organization Restructuring – an amendment to § 02 of statutes stating the purpose of association as follows : “The purpose of the Association is to support and provide professional development to full-time and part-time English teachers in all sectors, all educational backgrounds, and disciplines in their teaching of English as a second language across Germany. This includes using social media and supporting local events across Germany and in Stuttgart, by means of members in each of their local areas.”
11. § 6.3 the membership terminates – a) in the form of a written email sent to the board; it is valid only when it is sent at the end of a financial year within a cancellation period of three weeks.
12. § 9.1 The annual general meeting (AGM) is convened by the board with a four week invitation period in form of an email sent to the personal email addresses of the members. Content is the agenda as it is set by the board. The AGM may take place in person, hybrid or completely online, at the discretion of the board.
