In Saturday’s online workshop with Dale Coulter we looked at different ideas on how to market our teaching services.

A few days before the workshop, we were sent a pre-task consisting of a range of questions relating to our teaching businesses.

Developing a marketing strategy as a small business can be a quite daunting task at the best of times.
And with the current, ongoing COVID-19 crisis, a lot of us had to rethink our existing marketing plans as well as the way we teach and offer our services.
Needless to say, the workshop was fully booked!

Dale Coulter’s online workshop was very hands-on and helped the participants to (re-) evaluate their strengths and weaknesses.

In small breakout groups we discussed our positions as a business in relation to our competition with the help of a strategy canvas and compared to different benchmarks.
Another topic was the buyer persona and the importance of developing one, even as a small business.

At the end, there was also a short Q&A session which helped to further clarify the concepts we’ve just been taught.

All in all it was a very insightful and inspiring workshop providing ample food for thought.
