Tech-lesson lovers!
We had a lovely meeting last night in the Tech group. We’re missing all the summer holiday-makers, so I hope to see you back soon.
Our topics yesterday covered the current and future developments in online teaching that we are experiencing & also some sharing around the issue of conducting anonymous feedback in the classroom. This was a valuable point of experience brought up by Cindy H-S.
From the agenda for the meeting we covered using Adobe Reader DC for annotations in your online classroom & looked at the types of lessons and activities you might want to use this free tool for.
There were also a few questions (Thanks Gabriel P.!) going back to the topic of creating a TEDed Lesson for your class, which is something we looked at together two weeks ago. I have prepared a doc based on that presentation in the Tech Group meeting. Here you will be able to see the first steps in finding your material and getting started on TEDed using a YouTube video. There are also some screen shots showing how to generate an open auto-transcript on YouTube to use in your lesson creation.
