DESCRIPTION:Following on from last year’s fun and practical workshop ‘G
 et up stand up!  I would like to present a relaxed and light hearted part
 icipatory workshop for teachers and trainers. This time our over-riding th
 eme will be working on building presentation skills. In ‘Raising your vo
 ice’ we will explore the different vocal dynamics of communication along
 side dynamic group acting exercises which draw further on the work of Augu
 sto Boal as well my own experience of working as a practitioner.  I hope
  you will be able to draw on some of the exercises yourself whilst also e
 njoying the games and improvisatory exercises.\nPlease feel free to invite
  ETL friends and colleagues to this workshop\, everyone is welcome\, ther
 e will be no charge for non-ELTAS members. Please get your friends to regi
 ster to help us with planning.\nBio: Phil Gunderson has a background in th
 e Performing Arts\, working initially in the world of physical theatre and
  mime before discovering teaching. Here he found an audience keen to learn
  and even more eager to get up and do. He has written and worked on plays 
 as well as directing young actors\, most notably at the Brit School in Lon
 don. Phil also has some experience in EFL. He now teaches at the State Int
 ernational school in Seeheim-Jugenheim\, near Darmstadt.\nJoin us after fo
