DESCRIPTION:Helping learners to effectively communicate and a/synchronously
  collaborate in the digital realm\nToday\, roughly 70% of all communicatio
 n among teams is virtual. Think of how many emails and text messages we se
 nd every day: do they all manage to convey the intended tone? No\, they do
 n't! The lack of body language and physical presence in the digital realm 
 makes it hard even for the most emotionally intelligent leader!\nHow can w
 e help our learners land their digital message the way they intend\, so as
  to foster connection and collaboration? But also\, how can we do the same
  in our language trainer's role?\nDuring the workshop\, we will explore:\n
 \n	How several aspects of digital communication\, such as the choice of th
 e medium\, words\, use of emoji\, punctuation\, and response time generate
  meaning\n	How the lack of physical body language can be digitally transla
 ted by enhancing interaction and by understanding the differences across g
 enerations\, cultures and genders\n	How to avoid misunderstanding while na
 vigating a world of conference calls\, video meetings\, emails\, texts and
  chats\n\nPractical activities and a self-assessment test will help partic
 ipants to be more aware of their digital communication and will give them 
 the tools to transfer this knowledge to their learners.\n&nbsp\;
