ELTAS Summer Party: Potluck & Networking Event!
Get ready to celebrate summer, connect with colleagues, and share some delicious food! The English Language Teachers Association Stuttgart (ELTAS) is thrilled to invite you to the annual ELTAS Summer Party, a fantastic opportunity for both a potluck and a stimulating networking session.
What to Bring
This year, we’re making it a potluck, so please bring one dish to share. We kindly request that you bring a homemade dish if possible. Since our fridge space will be limited, please choose a dish that does not require refrigeration.
Feeling a bit lazy? No problem! You can also contribute by bringing:
- Chips
- Fresh pretzels
- Orange juice
- Sekt (sparkling wine)
We’ll have plenty of fresh and sparkling water on hand for everyone.
Bring a Friend!
We encourage you to invite a teacher-friend who isn’t an ELTA member! This is a perfect chance for them to experience our vibrant community and learn more about what ELTA Stuttgart has to offer.
Networking & Discussion Topics
This isn’t just about the food at the ELTAS Summer Party – it’s also a chance to connect and collaborate! We’ll be discussing a variety of interesting topics, including:
- Member Ideas & Interests: Share what you’ve been working on, or topics you’re passionate about in the English teaching world.
- Collaboration with VHS Stuttgart: We’ll explore opportunities to collaborate with the VHS Stuttgart, particularly with their exciting new campus in Bad Cannstatt.
- Freelancer Course Brainstorm: Let’s brainstorm creative and unique course ideas for our freelance members to offer.
Come to the ELTAS Summer Party prepared to share your thoughts, insights, and catch up on all that’s been happening in the English teaching community this year before we head into our summer break!
We can’t wait to see you there for an evening of good company, great food, and inspiring conversations at ELTAS!
