Bio:
After studying International Business Communication in Bielefeld, Jim Maloney moved to Hamburg in 2006 to complete his CELTA at the Hamburg School of English. Jim then worked freelance at various language schools before taking the next step by completing his TESOL Diploma in 2009 via International House in Barcelona. Jim was then offered the role of Training Development Manager at Language Training Center in Hamburg, a position he still happily holds today. Jim has given talks at BESIG, most recently in Munich on giving different feedback strategies in the classroom. In the past two years he has been approached by publishers and is currently working for Cornelsen on their Basis for Business series. His interests include listening to extremely loud music, marathon running and watching FC St. Pauli….oh and he has been a quiz master for the past 10 years at various events in Hamburg!
