Before moving to Seville, Spain, she completed her BA in Spanish in Chicago, where she was born and raised. She lived in Seivlle for 13 years working for 6 as a medical research translator for international publications. After doing a postgraduate certification in Translation at the University of Seville in 2006, Michelle turned her sights to teaching. Michelle taught in private schools and did an intern scholarship in Teaching while completing her master’s degree in secondary education English language teaching, also at the University of Seville in 2010.She is completely fluent in English, Spanish and German. Michelle has been a self-employed teacher and language coach in private companies in Germany since 2014. Additionally, she has taught at the VHS in Ludwigsburg, and the Dual Hochschule Baden-Württemberg, Stuttgart. Her specialties include business, technical and medical English. She currently teaches and translates in several multinational companies in the Stuttgart area. Michelle became interested in ELTAS to maintain her own professional development, and to share her experience and knowledge within the teaching community. She has been an ELTAS member since 2018. |

Koi Burkart comes from Kenya and has a BSc & an MSc in Agricultural Economics from University of Kentucky in Lexington, USA. Koi teaches at companies and schools. Koi also supports the Events Team. She enjoys regularly attending ELTAS workshops and networking with ELTAS members. Her membership with ELTAS has continued since 2012. |

With a BA in English language from the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences of Sfax, Tunisia, CELTA qualified, he is currently working on an MA in International Education Management at PH Ludwigsburg. Ahmed has held prominent positions in the field of education, including as an Academic Manager, a Course Content Designer, and the Vice Head of the English Language Department in Turkey, Estonia, and Ukraine. His extensive experience and expertise in language teaching methodologies have made him a valuable asset in these roles, with a keen interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance educational experiences. He has actively explored and implemented AI-driven technologies to optimize teaching methods and improve learning outcomes. His proficiency in utilizing AI tools, such as intelligent tutoring systems and adaptive learning platforms, has allowed Ahmed to create dynamic and personalized learning environments for students. He has been a Member of ELTAS since July 2022. |

Haripriya Pareek holds a PhD in English Language Teaching from Gauhati University, India. With a master’s degree in ELT and over 7 years of teaching experience, she has instructed learners from ecommerce and engineering backgrounds. While at Gauhati University, she taught Business English and soft skills to commerce and business studies undergraduates for 5 years. She also imparted Business English and soft skills training to students from aviation and hospitality management backgrounds. Subsequently, she taught English Language Skills to engineering undergraduates at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Additionally, she has received training as an Interlocutor, Aviation English Language Expert, and Aviation English Trainer at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Her research interests encompass teacher education in ELT, methodology of teaching English, and English for specific purposes. Currently, she works as a freelancer at VHS, while also being a part of ELTAS to foster connections with English teachers from variousinstitutions and further her professional development. |
