Over 25 ELTAS members met on Saturday 22nd July for Ron Morrain’s workshop on Mind Maps in ELT.  Through mind-mapping we found out how we could promote inquiry based learning and ensure a student centered approach to our lesson planning and teaching.

Ron shared many of his colorful mind maps with us, then it was our turn to produce our own on Social Media and we were very creative!

Every participant received from Ron his booklet “Why Mind Maps?” -12 reasons to use mind maps in the classroom.

In the reflection session, we all agreed that mind mapping is a very useful tool when integrating the four Cs of learning in our teaching, communication, creativity, collaboration and critical thinking.

A full review of this workshop will follow soon!
