Teaching listening and speaking skills

The workshop on Cornelsen grounds was held on June 4, 2016 and started with a general overview on what listening and speaking actually involves for a language learner.
Cornelia Kreis-Meyer shared some personal teaching experience and reminded the Eltas community of those difficult steps when you first try to figure out known and unknown linguistic procedures in known and unknown linguistic scenarios.
In a second part ‘Simply Business’, a newly published book by Cornelsen ,was closely looked at. What I personally liked were those interviews with speakers of English, other than British or American. The short video clips shown gave a brief inside into different cultural etiquette.
